Poroshenko's deputy chief of staff Chaly appointed Ukraine's ambassador to U.S.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has issued a decree appointing Valeriy Chaly as the ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S.
"To appoint Valeriy Chaly as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States," the decree states,
The decree has been posted on the website of the Ukrainian president.
Prior to his appointment, Chaly served as deputy head of the Ukrainian presidential administration in charge of foreign policy.
