Poroshenko announces new police patrols in Odesa in September
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has announced that a new patrol police service will start working in Odesa as of September.
"I look forward to September when we'll launch a patrol police service in Odesa," Poroshenko said at a meeting with regional governors and law enforcement agencies in Odesa on Wednesday.
Poroshenko pledged to the residents of Odesa that he would not delay that process and that the patrol police will start performing their duties no later than September.
