Kyiv applies to host 2018 Champions League final - Poroshenko
Kyiv has applied to host the UEFA Champions League 2017-2018 final.
"Euro 2012 was held in Ukraine. There will [also] be the Champions League. Kyiv has become a candidate to host the 2018 UEFA Champions League Final," Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko wrote on Twitter on Saturday.
As reported, on April 17, 2015, the executive committee of the Football Federation of Ukraine decided to submit a bid to host the 2018 Champions League final at the Olympiysky National Sports Complex in Kyiv.
