Armenian police have removed two lines barricades made of garbage bins across Bagramian Avenue in the center of Yerevan, an Interfax correspondent reports.
People protesting against the rise in electricity tariffs are not interfering in the police action. They have stretched a rope across the avenue to hinder the reopening of motor traffic.
The garbage bins are being loaded onto trucks.
Police reinforcements have been sent to the site.
