Militants amass heavy arms in Mariupol sector – ATO spokesman

Donbas militants have accumulated heavy armaments near the contact line in the Mariupol sector, Ukrainian Presidential Administration spokesman for the anti-terrorist operation Andriy Lysenko has said.

"Tensions have escalated in the Mariupol sector. The enemy has amassed heavy armaments (tanks and artillery) near the contact line and is actively using them. As a result of hostile attacks, our positions in Bohdanivka, Starohnativka, Shyrokyne and Berdiansk have found themselves under fire," he said at a press briefing on Thursday.
