European Council President says EU confronted with Russia geopolitical threats
European Council President Donald Tusk in his letter of congratulations to new Prime Minister of Denmark, Lars Lokke Rasmussen, has said Russia's policy threats is among the main challenges the European Union facing along with climate change, economic recovery and terrorism.
"The many challenges facing the European Union are the same Denmark is confronted with such as climate change, economic recovery, terrorism and Russia's geopolitical threats," reads Tusk's letter of congratulations posted on European Councils' official website.
He also added that Denmark's dedication and leadership in many of those challenges inspire the rest of Europe.
