Shelling damages houses in Stanytsia Luhanska, Stakhanivka, smashes school windows in Rodina village - governor Moskal
A shell attack on Stanitsa Luhanska in the early hours of Monday has damaged houses in the central part of this populated area and broke a low-pressure gas pipeline crossing several streets, but it has now been repaired, according to the website of the head of Luhansk Military-Civilian Administration, Hennadiy Moskal.
Thanks to power generators, mobile communications in the village have been restored; water supply to Stanytsai Luhanska resumed according to the usual schedule, he said.
Elsewhere in the region, damage to social infrastructure and housing sector has been registered in Popasna District. "In the village of Rodina, mortar fire smashed windows at a local school. In the nearby Stakhanivka, a two-family house has been seriously damaged. In both cases, no one was injured," the statement reads.
