Stanytsia Luhanska comes under mortar fire - governor Moskal
Small arms and 80mm mortars were fired on Stanytsia Luhanska from 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday until midnight, Hennadiy Moskal, who chairs the Kyiv-appointed military-civilian administration of the Luhansk region, has said.
"A low-pressure gas main was damaged as a result of shelling targeting Lenin Street. Part of the village was left without gas supplies. Emergency teams managed to fix it and restore gas supplies by this morning," Moskal's press service said.
A privately owned house was fully destroyed by a mine on Barbashov Street.
"No one was killed or injured," the press service said.
The situation is quiet in Stanytsia Luhanska on Thursday morning, it said. There is no fighting in other localities either.
