Militants have opened fire on the Ukrainian army's positions in Donbas 90 times in the past 24 hours, the press center of the Ukrainian army operation in the south-east said on its Facebook account on Friday.

Grad multiple-launch rocket systems, artillery weapons, combat vehicles, small arms and grenade launchers were fired at Ukrainian military positions along the entire line of contact, it said.

Militants shelled the Ukrainian army's positions and residential areas of Donbas 55 times overnight, the press center said.

The militants' strikes targeted areas near the localities of Artemivsk and Shyrokyne, as well as small arms and mortars were used against Pisky, Opytne, Krasnohorivka and Maryinka.
