Atlasjet Ukraine plans to expand fleet with regional planes
Atlasjet Ukraine airline is studying the possibility of including regional planes in its fleet, Atlasjet Head Serhiy Pidhorodetsky said at a press conference in Lviv on Thursday.
He said regional planes could used on routes from/to Kharkiv and could compete with shipments by rail.
When asked about what planes the airline is considering using, he said they could be An-148 or ATR 600 Series.
At present, the airlines' fleet includes Airbus A320 planes.
Atlasjet Ukraine was founded in September 2013. It is a subsidiary of Turkey's Atlasjet. The founders are Turkey's Atlasjet Havacilik AS, Lviv's AIS Group Ukraine, and Serhiy Pidhorodetsky.
