Ukrainian Consulate General in Rostov-on-Don plans to re-open in several days
The Ukrainian Consulate General in Rostov-on-Don has closed temporarily after an incident that occurred over the weekend, Ukraine's Consul General in Rostov-on-Don Vitaliy Moskalenko said.
"Consular staff are at their workplaces but are unable to work normally: the building should be repaired first. We only respond to urgent requests," Moskalenko told Interfax on Monday
The consulate could re-open as usual in a few days, he said.
It was reported that the building of the Ukrainian Consulate General in Rostov-on-Don was pelted with stones and eggs in the early hours of June 13. Police have launched an inquiry to find the perpetrators.
