President grants request preventing lustration of Ukrainian Air Force commander – decree
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has issued a decree preventing the lustration of Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Yuriy Baidak.
"To grant the Defense Minister's request agreed with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on National Security and Defense on not using the ban on occupying positions for those, who have been subjected to lustration, as foreseen by Part 3, Article 4 of the lustration law," reads the decree which was posted on Poroshenko's website on Friday.
