Ukrainian laws on termination of several deals on military cooperation with Russia to take effect Thursday
The Ukrainian laws on the termination of a number of military cooperation agreements with Russia will take effect on Thursday, June 11.
The Wednesday issue of the Voice of Ukraine parliamentary newspaper published the laws on the termination of Ukrainian-Russian intergovernmental agreements on the transit passage of Russian military units temporarily stationed in Moldova via Ukrainian territory, on the organization of military inter-state transportation and related payments, on military intelligence cooperation, on cooperation in the military sector and on mutual protection of classified information.
The laws were adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on May 21.
The laws stipulate that they take effect the day after their official publication.
