Harmful air emissions from oil depot fire near Kyiv don't exceed safe levels – Kyiv administration
Harmful air emissions that were released as a result of a fire at an oil depot in Vasylkivsky district of Kyiv region do not exceed safe levels, director of the ecology and natural resources department of Kyiv Regional State Administration Volodymyr Tsyba has said.
"There was a conference between ecology headquarters, and according to the data of the analysis as of 08:00 the situation was stable, emissions don't exceed the [safe] norm," he told at the site of the disaster on Wednesday.
Tsyba denied statements made by public organizations, which according to him have exaggerated the situation, and he also denied the statement of the head of Kyiv city administration which said that safe emission levels were exceeded.
