16 fuel reservoirs on fire near Kyiv – emergency service
Sixteen fuel reservoirs are on fire on the territory of the BRSM fuel depot in the village of Hlevakha in the Kyiv region, the Ukrainian Emergency Situations Service reported on Tuesday.
According to the service, eight reservoirs with a capacity of 900 cubic meters and eight of 50 cubic meters are now on fire.
One reservoir with a capacity of 900 cubic meters has been extinguished.
Firefighters are extinguishing the reservoirs on fire with foam. They are also pouring water on nearby fuel reservoirs to prevent the further spread of fire.
A total of 308 firefighters and 62 units of equipment are involved in the effort to put out the fire.
