Ukraine needs to implement reforms to join NATO – Klimkin

There is currently no consensus in NATO on the issue of Ukraine's accession to the Alliance, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said, adding that Ukraine needs to implement reforms for a consensus to be achieved.

"There is currently no clear consensus on Ukraine's accession. However, I reiterate: not on the prospects, but on where we are now," he said at a meeting of the inter-parliamentary NATO-Ukraine Council held in Kyiv on Monday.
