The Interior Ministry of Ukraine has put MP Serhiy Kliuyev on the wanted list.
This is according to a report on the website of the Interior Ministry.
The report says Kliuyev disappeared on June 4.
Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin submitted formal requests to the Verkhovna Rada on May 12 to deprive unaffiliated parliamentarians Kliuyev and Serhiy Melnychuk of their immunity as they are suspected of committing a number of crimes.
Shokin said that Kliuyev was suspected of "fraud" and "expropriation, misappropriation, or seizure of property through abuse of office."
On June 3, the Verkhovna Rada gave its consent to Kliuyev's prosecution.
On June 4, the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service said Kliuyev had attempted to flee the country through Boryspil airport in Kyiv on June 3. According to the border service, the MP intended to fly to Vienna but was prevented from doing so.
