Fighting is going on in Maryinka - Kyiv

Fighting has resumed in the area of Maryinka, Donetsk region, where Ukrainian units "have been sent to destroy" a subversive reconnaissance unit, Andriy Lysenko, spokesman for the presidential administration on issues relating to the military operation n Donbas, told Interfax-Ukraine.

"Fire was opened on our positions using mortars and firearms at around 9:00 a.m. It's Maryinka. Combat security later found the enemy's subversive reconnaissance unit. Forces have now been sent to destroy the enemy. The fighting is ongoing," he told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
