Japan hopes on reform process acceleration in Ukraine
Japan hopes reform process in Ukraine will accelerate, also due to country's assistance, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said during the meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Arseniy Yatseniuk in Kyiv on Saturday.
Abe said his country also carries reforms now so he understands how difficult this process is.
Yatseniuk expressed gratitude to Abe for Japan's support of Ukraine resisting Russia aggression and for financial-economic help as well.
"We're far away from each other in view of distance, but we're close to each other in sense of relations," the premier said.
Yatseniuk said Japan had a good reputation in the world so is an example for Ukraine to follow.
