G7 summit on June 7-8 to cover relations with Russia, Ukraine crisis – EU source
Russia and the ongoing Ukrainian crisis are on the agenda of G7 summit which will take place in Germany on June 7-8, a senior EU official has said, speaking anonymously.
The source said that Russia was no longer at the negotiation table, but the country will have to be on the agenda.
This is not an EU decision, but that of the G7 member states, the source stressed.
The source went on to say that other important items on the agenda include a ceasefire and the withdrawal of heavy weapons in eastern Ukraine.
