Yatseniuk offers to draw up legislation on Donbas contact line pass system
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk has offered to draw up legislation on the pass system for the contact line in Donbas to the Verkhovna Rada, adding that the Cabinet of Ministers will publish the respective bill next week.
"We'll put a bill to the parliament – I would prefer not to disclose all details now – that foresees setting an order on the so-called conflict line. And this would be, from one point of view, rough, from another point, absolutely transparent methods of control on the contact line. Next week there will be a respective bill," he said in the parliament during question time on Friday.
Yatseniuk added that when a final bill is drafted and considered by the Cabinet of Ministers, he will inform the parliament "what the government's position is over this."
