Ukrainian military repelled Russian attack near Maryinka after notifying international partners of use of artillery – Poroshenko
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled a Russian attack near the town of Maryinka, Donetsk region, on Wednesday.
"A gun, which hangs on the wall, soon or later [will] shoot. This rule concerns not just a simple theatre stage, but a military actions performance as well. Taking into consideration a well-known topographic cretinism of the Russian military, they might 'lose their way' at any moment as happened just yesterday near Maryinka," Poroshenko said in his annual address to the parliament on Thursday.
