Nearly 1,200 servicemen, civilians missing in Donbas – Ukrainian Security Service
A total of 1,179 persons have gone missing in the army operation zone in eastern Ukraine, Ukrainian Security Service Main Investigative Department head Vasyl Vovk has stated.
"As of 9 a.m. on June 3, 2015, 1,179 persons are missing," he said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
The number is being constantly updated, he said. "Some persons are found while other missing person reports are being filed," he said.
The Ukrainian Security Service is trying to find these people, servicemen, volunteers and civilians, Vovk added.
