Moscow ready to do whatever necessary to protect its foreign assets in face of Kyiv's plans - Kremlin
Russia will use all legal possibilities within international law to protect state assets based abroad, should Kyiv seek their seizure, the Kremlin says.
"This matter is rather from legal territory. Naturally, when it comes to legal support and legal protection of Russian Federation property, Moscow will do whatever is necessary within international law," Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
He was commenting on Ukraine's announcement of its plans to seek the seizure of Russian state assets based abroad in the event of winning its case in the European Court of Human Rights.
