Sanctions against Russia directly related to Minsk agreements - German FM
The continuation of sanctions against Russia depends on its compliance with the Minsk agreements, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has said.
"We quite clearly state our messages to Russia: the international sanctions against Russia are directly related to the implementation of the Minsk agreements," he said during the 8th Kyiv Security Forum on Friday.
According to Steinmeier, the EU remains Ukraine's partner in different formats, including the "Normandy format," as well as involving the U.S., Japan, and Canada.
