Russian embassy in Ukraine granted access to Russians detained in Luhansk region – diplomat
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on Monday sent a note to the Russia embassy in Kyiv stating it has been granted access to Russian military personnel detained in Ukraine's Luhansk region, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Special Ambassador Dmytro Kuleba has said.
"Yesterday, on May 25, under the set procedure the Russian embassy has been officially informed about the possibility of this access by the note. The diplomatic note registered definite mobile phone numbers, names of the people, Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), due to which consul should address to directly settle the logistic issues to organize such mission," the diplomat said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
