Poroshenko, Kerry stress importance of restoring full control over Ukrainian-Russian border
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has briefed U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry about the results of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga and the developments in Donbas, in particular in Shyrokyne, the Ukrainian president's press service reported.
Poroshenko and Kerry stressed the importance of restoring full control over the Ukrainian-Russian border, the press service said.
The parties agreed on further coordination of joint efforts regarding the issue of Donbas and Crimea.
Poroshenko and Kerry also reiterated mutual trust and responsibility. They also stressed that the U.S. would remain a strong strategic partner of Ukraine.
