Two Ukrainian policemen wounded in Luhansk region on Saturday - official
Two policemen were wounded in a battle with "an enemy scouting and sabotage group" outside the village of Triokhizbenka in Novoaidarsk district, Luhansk region, early on Saturday, according to the head of the Luhansk military-civilian administration.
In patrolling an area between the villages of Lobacheve and Lopaskyne in the vicinity of Triokhizbenka, a police detail detected "an enemy scouting and sabotage group," a statement from the office of administration chief Hennadiy Moskal quoted him as saying.
"A battle broke out with the use of assault rifles and grenade launchers. The saboteurs retreated, but two of our fighters were wounded during the battle," Moskal said.
