Three Ukrainian servicemen wounded in Luhansk region shelling on Saturday - official
Starting with 19.00 on Saturday communities in Luhansk region came under fire that damaged a gas pipeline in the community of Luhanske and wounded three Ukrainian servicemen, head of Luhansk Military and Civilian Administration Hennadiy Moskal announced on Sunday.
He said Luhanske came under fire from heavy artillery, mortars and grenade-launchers. Residential buildings were damaged. The operation of the damaged gas pipeline was restored by 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
There were clashes in the towns of Schastia and Krymske, Moskal said.
Quoting tentative reports he said that between Saturday evening and Sunday morning three Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in the region. There is no information about civilian casualties, he said.
Moskal also said that the water pipe delivering water to the town of Artemivsk in Donetsk region damaged in the Saturday fire has not been repaired yet.
