Merkel sees prospect of Ukraine getting visa-free travel with EU if all conditions are met – Poroshenko
German Chancellor Angela Merkel believes there is a prospect of Ukraine being granted visa-free travel to the EU if Kyiv meets the required conditions, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said.
"Angela Merkel sees a clear prospect of introducing visa-free regime for Ukraine, if all conditions are met," the president wrote on Twitter on Friday.
As reported, Poroshenko met with Merkel and French President Francois Hollande in Riga on Friday.
The Eastern Partnership summit is currently being held in Riga.
