U.S. insists on extradition of Firtash for trial - Ambassador Pyatt
The U.S. continues to insist on the extradition of Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash for trial.
""The United States insists that Dmytro Firtash be brought to justice, and we continue to call for his extradition to face trial," U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt wrote on Twitter on Friday.
As reported, on May 5, a Vienna Regional Criminal Court after 12-hour session denied a request from the U.S. Department of Justice for the extradition of Firtash to the United States.
