Ukraine may start missile defense consultations - NSDC Secretary

Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov is not ruling out the possibility of consultations on the deployment of missile defense elements on the Ukrainian territory.

"I do not rule out that we will have to hold consultations on the deployment of elements of the missile defense system on the Ukrainian territory as a way of protection from the nuclear threat [posed by Russia]. The prevention of a nuclear war is a joint responsibility of all people of goodwill to their planet," he said in an interview with the Ukrinform agency.
