Poroshenko says 1,800 soldiers, 7,000 civilians killed during Donbas conflict
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that 1,800 soldiers and nearly 7,000 civilians have been killed during the conflict in Donbas.
"This is a disaster and a disaster not just for mothers, but a disaster for the whole country. The disaster for every family who lost 1,800 soldiers, for every family who lost almost 7,000 civilians," Poroshenko said in an interview with the BBC.
