Norway will grant $26.3 mln to Ukraine to support budget
Norway will issue a grant of $26.3 million to Ukraine for general budget support, Ukraine's Ministry of Finance has reported.
According to the ministry, Ukrainian Minister of Finance Natalie Jaresko and Norwegian Foreign Minister Borge Brende on May 12 signed an addendum to the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Norway, dated November 18, 2014, which foresaw support to the budget of Ukraine in the amount of 100 million Norwegian krone (equivalent to $26.3 million).
The supplement to the agreement provides for a two-fold increase in the grant.
