Cabinet transfers Antonov enterprise from Antonov concern to Ukroboronprom
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has transferred state-owned enterprise Antonov (Kyiv) from Antonov Aviation Concern to Ukroboronprom State Concern.
The transfer is stipulated in Cabinet resolution No. 269 dated March 31, which has been posted on the website of the government.
According to the resolution, the integrated property complex of Antonov state enterprise has been transferred from the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to the management of Ukroboronprom State Concern.
Antonov state-owned enterprise is the world's leader in the niche market of transport aircraft for a wide range of purposes. The company cooperates with 76 countries. It has been part of Antonov Concern since 2008.
In January-March 2015, Antonov, under Ukrainian accounting standards, saw net profit rise by 7.7 times compared to the same period in 2014, to UAH 330.45 million, its net income in the first quarter increased by 2.1 times, to UAH 947.24 million.
