Ukrspyrt returns UAH 1 mln medical face masks bought in 2014 to supplier – press service
State enterprise Ukrspyrt has returned 980,000 medical face masks, which were bought in 2014 for UAH 950,600, to a private supplier.
Ukrspyrt’s press service reported last week that, taking into account the absence of data on origin and conformity certificates, and a conclusion of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, the state enterprise decided to return the masks to the supplier.
Materials on the related embezzlement of funds were sent to law-enforcement agencies to start pretrial investigation.
Ukrspyrt is managed by the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food. Last year Ukrspyrt distilleries manufactured around 15 million decaliters of alcohol, which was sold only on the domestic market.
