Norway to provide EUR 5 mln of humanitarian aid to displaced people from Donbas – Norwegian minister
Norway will provide humanitarian aid worth EUR 5 million to internally displaced people from Donbas, Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Børge Brende has said.
"EUR 5 million… The aid will be distributed to meet the needs. The funding will be channelled through the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Save the Children and other NGOs," Brende said at a briefing in Kharkiv on Monday.
The press service of Kharkiv Regional Administration reported that Brende said at a meeting with Regional Administration Head Ihor Rainin that Norway plans also provide EUR 35 million for cooperation with Ukraine.
