Dialogue, search for Ukraine peace resolution needed despite differences with Russia - Merkel

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called for diplomatic efforts to end the conflict in Ukraine despite the differences with Moscow.

"Despite our differences, we do need to search for a dialogue and a peaceful resolution and make diplomatic efforts," she said.
