Nadia Savchenko receives award "In Recognition of Fighting Fascism in Russia"
International Antiputin Coalition has given an award "In Recognition of Fighting Fascism in Russia" to Nadia Savchenko, Ukrainian pilot illegally detained in Russia.
"Nadia receives the award not only for fighting separatists and Russia occupants, but also for fighting the Fascism in Russia. She is standing strong in Russian prison showing the whole world that she won't be broken. She'll overcome this ordeal," organization's coordinator German Obukhov said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
Nadia's mother Maria Savchenko accepted the medal.
"For me, the greatest award will be Nadia's coming home. I don't know when it will happen. She no longer has a pilot's health, she's being tortured, so I don't know if she will come back home alive," she said.
