Ukraine-EU political association requires responsibility ob both parties – Groysman
Political Association between Ukraine and the European Union demands a greater mutual responsibility of both parties, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Groysman said.
"Political Association demands a greater mutual responsibility both of Ukraine – for carrying reforms, as well as the EU – for comprehensive guarantees of inviolability and success of our European choice," he said when speaking at the Natolin College of Europe in Warsaw on Wednesday.
A consolidated support of Ukraine in the world would not be possible without active efforts of "our Polish friends, who at all levels and in all formats reiterate that the aggression of the Russian Federation upon Ukraine is the threat to common European values," Groysman said.
He expressed deep gratitude to Poland for its resolute support.
"Poland's support acquires greater importance taking in account intensification of Moscow actions aimed at undermining the unity of the EU member countries," the parliamentary speaker said.
