Canada not ruling out further sanctions against Russia – minister
Canada wants the sanctions currently placed on Russia to remain in force, Canadian Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander has said.
Canada is trying to put pressure on Russia, including through the possible adoption of new sanctions, in order to stop this aggression against Ukraine, Alexander told an international conference in support of Ukraine in Kyiv on Tuesday.
Canada does not intend to lift its sanctions imposed on Russia, he added.
