EU to send mission to Ukraine to assess country's needs – Tusk
The European Union will send a mission to Ukraine to assess the country's needs, after which the EU will dispatch aid, European Council President Donald Tusk has said.
During the Ukraine-EU summit in Kyiv on Monday, Tusk said that the EU had decided to send the mission as soon as possible.
He said that the mission would first evaluate the country's needs and what the EU could do, then the mission will draw up a report which will be discussed by the EU member states.
