Militants hold 30 fire attacks on Ukrainian army porsitions in Donbas on Saturday – ATO press centre
Between 6 p.m. and midnight on Saturday, April 25, militants opened fire at Ukrainian troops along the separation line 30 times, the press center of the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas reported.
Near Pisky Ukrainian forces came under fire eight times, four times of them under 120-mm mortar fire. Mortar fire was also opened at positions of Ukrainian troops near Leninske, Shyrokyne, Avdiyivka and Mayorske, the press service said.
"The adversary continued to use artillery systems with calibers exceeding 100 mm. Thus, in the area of Avdiyivka ordnance of 122-mm caliber was used and our stronghold near Mayorske came under artillery fire of 152-mm caliber," a press officer said.
In Luhansk region militants opened fire from a personnel carrier in the area of Schastia and from grenade-launchers - near the town of Stanytsia Luhanska.
