Poroshenko sings law on exemption from military service for fulltime students
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law No. 277-VII on exemption from military service during the mobilization period for fulltime students, including post-grad students.
The document amends the Article 23 of the law on mobilization training and mobilization. Thus, soldiers, who are also fulltime students, that were drafted for military service as a part of mobilization are to go out from service. Therefore, the right to education is preserved. However, such persons can stay in service at their own desire.
