Russia building up forces along Ukrainian border – NATO Secretary General
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said that Russia is building up forces along Ukrainian birder and is actively delivering weapons and supplies to militants in eastern Ukraine, which allows them to start a rapid attack.
We can see a substantial building up of Russian armed forces along the Ukrainian border and in eastern Ukraine, Stoltenberg said in the interview with Politico Europe interview on Thursday.
Stoltenberg also added that within last month Russians had increased the supplies of arms to eastern Ukraine.
We can't judge their intentions, but they have the opportunity for a new attack, he said.
Stoltenberg also spoke for a strict observance of the Minsk agreements.
We urged Russia to withdraw its troops from eastern Ukraine and, which is important, to give OSCE monitors full access to all the regions and ensure their safety, NATO Secretary General said.
