Opposition Bloc stages parliamentary walkout in solidarity with coalminers – Boiko
The parliamentary faction Opposition Bloc has refused to take part in the Thursday plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada because, as they say, the Ukrainian authorities are ignoring the miners' demands.
"No state institution met with them and gave them any response," Yuriy Boiko, the head of the faction, told the parliament session.
Boiko said there is not a single economic bill on the Rada agenda for Thursday.
For this reason, the Opposition Bloc faction has stopped its work in the session hall for today, he said.
