Negotiations with miners being conducted in Ukrainian govt building
A delegation composed of eight representatives of the coalminers who are now protesting in Kyiv has gone to the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers for negotiations.
The number of protesters in the street has decreased and some police officers have also left the rally site, an Interfax correspondent has reported.
About 1,000 miners from the western and eastern regions of Ukraine rallied near the presidential administration and the Verkhovna Rada buildings on Wednesday. They later moved to the Cabinet building.
