Yatseniuk calls on Rada coalition to demonstrate unity
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that the unity of the parliamentary coalition is the passport to success for Ukraine on its way to reform.
"The parliamentary coalition should be united, coordinated, and effective. This is a passport to success of Ukraine on its way to reform and on the path of positive changes. And any attempt, which has already been made towards the government and its destabilization, has failed. And I'll stand to protect the parliamentary coalition and every member of the parliamentary coalition – a European-choice coalition," he said at the opening of the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
"We should get rid of this eternal problem of Ukrainian democrats in the end: we come to power together, and having taken control, we start quarrelling when responsibility should be taken on. As the head of government, I'll stand by any member of the parliamentary coalition, every MP and every faction," he added.
