Justice Ministry officials searched over forgery granting immunity to fiscal service official – ministry
Justice Ministry officials have been searched due to a forged document granting immunity from lustration being given to an official of the State Fiscal Service's main branch in Kyiv.
"On February 13, 2015 an unknown person forged a letter of the Justice Ministry of Ukraine addressed to deputy chief of the State Fiscal Service main branch in Kyiv city saying that this official won't be subject to prohibitions envisaged under Part 3, Article 1 of the law of Ukraine 'On power lustration.' Today, on April 21, on the basis of decisions of Pechersky District Court of Kyiv the persons, who might be involved in the forging of the aforementioned document, are being searched," reads a press release issued by the Interior Ministry on Tuesday.
