SBU plans to seize documents from Constitutional Court as part of investigation into usurpation of power by Yanukovych
The State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) as part of the investigation into criminal proceedings on the usurpation of power by Yanukovych and Constitutional Court judges plans on April 15 to seize documents on three constitutional petitions from the Constitutional Court.
"Today the documents on three constitutional provisions will be seized," head of the SBU main investigative department Vasyl Vovk told reporters in Kyiv.
He explained that the matter concerns the materials related to limiting the powers of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, the creation of coalition and amendments to the Constitution.
He also said that the questioning of the Constitutional Court judges has not been carried out.
